Slumdog Millionaire

The most anticipated movie of the year. Even before it hit the big screens in the country it had won a bagfull of awards. As an Indian the best of all was A.R.Rahman winning the Golden Globe.
Coming back to the movie, I had a copy of DVD atleast a month back. But I definitely wanted to watch the movie in the big screen. Since the movie was expected so much I got my turn of tickets only for last Monday. More the time more the expectation.
The movie was good, I understood only a part of it (which generally happens when I watch other language's movies), then playing my DVDs many times I understood the movie. The movie ended as everyone expected.
The best part of the movie was its screenplay - I was astonished by the way it was screenplayed.
But there were few questions,that arose in me. I was forced to answer the following questions:
Is this the best movie I ever watched?
No!
Is the best masterpiece of AR Rahman?
No.
There are still more questions like this,I wanted to know why this movie has won so many awards, without taking away the credit from Danny and Rahman for their splendid work in their respective departments.
I was not able to stop thinking about what Big Bachan had spoken about the movie, I felt a part of it is correct.
"Only a Part of it !!"

Padma shri awards, Do they really deserve it.

Hi, I was not in a position to post any article for the past few days. I am writing an article which I really wanted to post along time back. I am definitely late in discussing this topic but still I wanna discuss it.

It's all about the Padma Shri Awards, Have the right people got the right recognization that they deserve. Were really few deserving candidates were left alone????? I hope everybody understands that I am talking about our Olympic Hero's Sushil and Vijender in Sports category. And also have few personal opinions on top of it....

Do they deserve it???? As far I believe if anybody that list deserves it then for sure these Champions deserve, Does anybody have a reason or answer why they were denied what they were suppose to get. If anybody has one please let me know because I have been trying to find one for the past few days.

On top of everything I have question to people in the news channels which were selecting people under different category as Indian of the year. When it came to sports category the options were 1. MSD 2. Abinav Bindar 3. Sushil & Vijender... etc
why were these champions not treated as equally as other sports personnel... Why were they put on the same option rather than in two different options. Was that just because they won bronze medal in Olympic games.

I have one big doubt, that is why nobody raised questions on this(saddest part of it) say for instance when Sourav was thrown out of the team we had entire West bengal agitate for it. But when these Champions are thrown out nobody questions....

I really wanna on what basis these awards are given away..... If anybody has an answer plz let me know.....

Pranab's Visit to Lanka

Atlast Mr.Pranab Mukherjee has decided to do something useful rather than attending Press conferences. Thanks for that. He has decided to go to Srilanka and speak to Mr.SriLanka (this is what Rajapakse thinks about him) about bringing this war against LTTE to an end, which I believe is not possible.

Why it is not possible??? Because I think Pranab is bit late in going there. Say for instance, if he had been there a month ago, it was a possible mission.. Putting it simpler, Lankan army has captured Mullaitheevu, Elephant pas and above all the all so important Killinochi; so they have tasted believing that if they can continue what they had been doing or what they are doing.

Is the UPA govt is really interested in (say) 3 lac civilians (tamilians) who are caught up in this war ot is that just a drama to satisfy the TN politicians, which will fetch them more parliamentary seats?

Why do I have so many doubts on his visit?

Because we did not get clear answer about Mr.Menon's visit to SriLanka last week.

A suggestion to Mr.Mukherjee, People in this country will really appreciate you, if you go there; speak for a real cause, and bring things to an end, rather than making the visit just for a photograph.

Whatever it may be, people still with a lot of hope have a close watch on your visit.

Girls attacked in Pub last night

Last night I came back home at 4 in the morning. As usual I was roaming in the roads and streets of Chennai. No wonder I was not able to sleep after few heated conversations with my friends regarding Bloody Indian politics.

So I switched on the idiot box and was through each nothing was interesting as expected. I thought to myself when do these play really good programs because anytime I switch it on its been pathetic. At last I stopped at a news which was showing a footage in which girls were being attacked by our so called men. I stopped fiddling my remote and took some real interest and started watching the news.

It was a group of men( so called) who belonged to Sri Ram Sena where Moral policing based on a complaint that they received. I dont understand why people complaint these people when our country has so many Police men who do nothing all day. It was really pathetic to see men chasing women and men, man handling them and the best part of it was that the incident had so many audience.

I am not able to get it, why people blame women for drinking and smoking???? Say for an instance Sri Ram Sena did not want female in indulge in these of kind of stuffs. First thing that they must have done is, Asked hotel, pubs, etc to restrict entry for women into pubs or at least stop selling alcohols to them. They will not do that or will not be able to it because " The money that government gets in selling Alcohol and tobacco is way tooo much".

There is a state in this where the government sells alcohol. I am a common when there is something for my taking I will definitely take it. So if you people want me to follow so called Indian principle help me in doing it.

Before I end this blog I have fews question to people who did this yesterday.

1. As literacy rate in Karnataka and India reached the magical figure 100%.
2. Has everybody in the state and country crossed the poverty line.
3. As the state's and country's infrastructure reached the best.

I have many questions to them and a suggestion.

And that we people in this country have got lots n lots things to fight against rather running around female Arses..

Celebrating 60th Day

I woke up very late today morning( as usual) was still tied felt like sleeping for some more time. But when I really wanted to sleep something struck my mind, what was that Dr Mahmohan singh was operated yesterday for few blocks in heart so I was curious to know to know what had happened to him.

When I was going thro the paper I understood that Mr Singh was absolutely fine. Thanks to all doctors who worked on it. One thing that I must have understood even before reading the news paper that our doctors would have done anything to save him because its quite common in our country " Life of a politician was the most valuable thing in India".

The other interesting that struck my mind was the date in the news paper, guess why???
It was 25th Jan 09 exactly 60 days from the day when terror struck Mumbai. So before proceeding any further lets all put our hands together to all politician for doing nothing for the past 60 long days.

As a matter of fact when the country is celebrating 60th day anniversary. Pranab mukherjee has something personal celebrate, Guess what??? Mr Mukherjee has made 200 press appearance in the last 60 days(approx) beating his own old records for that matter beating any politicians records across the globe.

Great job Mr Mukherjee.

A Journey Begins

Myself and My friend were sitting in a coffee shop last weekend were chit chatting. All of a sudden my friend told me about this all new concept of Blogging.

Blogging??? It was all Greek and Latin to me when he spoke to about Blogging.He tried to explain me what exactly blogging meant as usual was not to get the concept. The only thing that I understood was " Its space of our in the web where we write our views".

I got really excited about this and thought to myself " I must do it". Then started en quiring about few basic things like how to create an account and so stuffs. Thanks to friend Rajan who took so much effort in putting all these things in my so called "Brain".

I am definitely a beginner in Blogging But I will take anything that it takes to become something better than the beast( he he he).
